The concept
“YouDance OpenAirs” is a project that brings our dance community into public spaces.
Our mission is simple: to share our passion, inspire others, and make our dances visible and accessible to everyone.
Each event transforms the city into a dance floor and brings Brussels one step closer to becoming a true European capital of dance.

What it takes to keep this event alive
This event is accessible to everyone, but it only exists thanks to real time, energy, and personal investment.
- 150€+ in music licensing (legally required)
- Personal equipment: sound system, camera, laptop
- 7+ hours on site: setup, teaching, running the event, photo/video shooting, teardown
- 2+ hours editing and sharing your photos & videos
All of this, twice a week.
